ABOUT KALLES GROUP:

Everyone deserves to be secure. Our mission at Kalles Group is to help secure the future for companies of all shapes and sizes.

While our expertise spans multiple disciplines, our method remains consistent: building trust and relationship with people -- whether you are a client, a consultant, or--in this case--a candidate.

No matter what role you come from--whether you're an executive or just starting your career-you can expect our highest level of attention and respect. We want to find the right fit for each role, but we also want you to find the right fit for your career.

We believe the best way to show you what our team is like is to treat you like you're already a part of it. We hope you'll consider joining our team of experienced professionals who are building their careers at Kalles Group and having fun while doing it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

We are looking for a talented User Experience (UX) Designer who will be responsible for crafting compelling and user-friendly experiences for digital products. By leveraging insights from user research and workflow analysis, you will help ensure that products meet the needs of their users. You will work closely with development teams to enhance product usability, evaluate systems, and provide support through the design process. This role involves working across various interfaces, from web and mobile to multimedia and voice interactions, always ensuring an optimal user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Testing: Conduct quality assurance testing on developed pages, facilitating discussions to address defects and bugs.
  • Competitive Research: Perform research such as competitive analysis or assessments to benchmark against external products and retailers.
  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct various forms of usability testing (e.g., A/B tests, formative and summative tests, moderated and unmoderated, in-person, or remote).
  • Field Research: Lead field research using the most effective methods, such as observations or interviews, to gather relevant user insights.
  • Create Sitemaps and Process Flows: Develop and document sitemaps and process flows that enhance user journeys.
  • Interaction Design Best Practices: Follow best practices for interactions across devices, including handling form controls, mobile transitions, desktop interactions, hover effects, and more.
  • Design Implementation: Apply visualization principles and best practices to convert user and business requirements into effective design solutions that suit various contexts of use.
  • Accessibility: Ensure that designs are accessible by incorporating appropriate ADA patterns across all devices, including desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside solution architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to create outstanding user experiences tailored to specific domains like healthcare and pharmacy.
  • User-Centered Design: Solve intricate design challenges by employing a user-centered design approach, taking into account user goals, business requirements, accessibility needs, and development constraints.
  • Iterative Design Methods: Use iterative design techniques, such as wireframes, process flows, sketches, and interactive prototypes, to guide thoughtful design decisions.
  • Usability Reviews: Evaluate existing user interfaces and suggest enhancements through expert usability reviews.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on competitors to better understand the prevailing interaction design solutions and inform your design strategy.
  • Prototype Creation: Develop interactive prototypes to help teams, stakeholders, and users visualize and explore proposed solutions.
  • UX Style Guides and Standards: Maintain and enforce UX style guides, UI standards, and design pattern libraries to ensure consistency across products and interfaces.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Your values:
    • Integrity: You believe in doing the right thing, even when it's uncomfortable, seemingly inefficient, or costly.
    • Purposefulness: You have a desire to serve others with your skillset and an openness to continuous learning and growth.
    • Ownership: You stick to your commitments, follow up with action, and seek clarity in communication & expectations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a UX designer, preferably within the healthcare or health-tech sectors.
  • An online portfolio showcasing your ability to create effective design solutions using user-centered design (UCD) methodologies.
  • Experience integrating design thinking with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Expert knowledge of current design tools, particularly Figma.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UI patterns and interactions, with experience designing for native mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with design system frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of accessible design principles and familiarity with WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
  • Experience with front-end development technologies, including HTML/CSS.
  • Proven ability to plan and conduct user research activities, such as developing personas, user stories, conducting competitive analyses, expert reviews, user interviews, contextual inquiries, field research, and surveys.
  • Experience planning and executing usability studies, with the ability to report findings to project teams and business stakeholders.
  • Creative and pragmatic problem-solver with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills to effectively communicate design decisions and influence business stakeholders.
  • Ability to iteratively refine designs based on feedback and collaboration with leadership and peers.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed as needed.
  • A strategic thinker who can act tactically and resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Awareness of current and emerging industry trends and best practices.

WE WOULD BE THRILLED IF YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in User Experience Design or equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing cross-channel experiences for both mobile and web.
  • Experience creating user interfaces within an enterprise Agile environment.
  • Comfortable designing for both B2B and B2C projects, including international contexts.
  • Experience as a consultant.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Competitive compensation with opportunities for additional incentives. The annual salary range for this role is $80,000-$120,000.
