Windchill Administrator
Major Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Install, configure, customize, maintain, and upgrade PTC Windchill products.
  2. Provide technical support, server management, network, and database administration.
  3. Troubleshoot Windchill technical issues including both server and CAD client-side
  4. Manage System Performance using PTC System or other monitoring tools.
  5. Develop and document processes and user guide.
  6. Use ticketing system to document requests, track changes, and explain resolutions.
  7. Ensure that new users get PTC Windchill products properly installed with appropriate permissions.
  8. Liasson with the Creo / Windchill Users group.
  9. Maintain user statistics of PTC products.
Basic Qualifications
  1. 7+ years of experience with PTC Windchill including both experience managing the tool and supporting the associated infrastructure.
  2. Experience in working with engineering staff to diagnose and resolve issues.
  3. Experience with creating Windchill Products, Workflows, and Lifecycles and Creo configuration files.
  4. Experience managing PLM or PDM systems.
  5. Familiarity with the various Windchill Modules and CAD Tools.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills suitable for user support and ability to work well with peer system administrators.
  7. Ability to time manage and prioritize projects.
