Who You Are
You are a proven technology troubleshooter with excellent relational skills. You have a well-developed sense of responsibility and love the changing nature of IT because it gives you the chance to continue to learn and develop expertise.
Your Skills and Background:
- Associate or bachelor s degree in computer science or related field (preferred)
- 4+ years in a help desk, IT engineer, or similar role
- Advanced experience with Microsoft 365
- Experienced with ticketing software
- Familiar with remote monitoring software
- Familiar with troubleshooting common business software, networking, servers, backup and hardware issues
- A+, Network+, Security+ Certifications (preferred)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Patience to deal with difficult people and situations
- Motivated to learn and adapt to areas you may be unfamiliar with
- Good driving record & ability to pass a drug screening
What You Will Do
- LMA (lead, manage, hold accountable) your assigned Service Delivery Engineer I.
- Provide backup basic and advanced level IT tech support to our partners through overflow phone calls and tickets.
- Provide onsite support when needed
- Serve as a point of escalation for level I engineers
- Choose an area you are passionate about (Documentation, VoIP, RMM, etc.) and establish a way you can provide continued value to this area (lead a committee, be the assigned application engineer, etc.)
- Monitor the progress of tickets, and ensure your tickets are always updated and current
- Thoroughly document issues and communicate with the team
- Setup hardware for installation
- Provide best practices in your areas of expertise
- Work with vendors to resolve partner issues
- Use your knowledge and expertise to continually improve processes and partner experiences
