Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an Entry to Mid-Level Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Project Manager to work in a laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will inspect the facility daily to ensure compliance, interact with other teams to gather necessary data for writing EHS and occupational safety reports, and report findings to the Head of EHS for the US. Exceptional communication and writing skills are essential, as well as the ability to meet weekly KPIs.

Hard Skills

  • Experience submitting environmental reports
  • Experience submitting occupational health and safety reports
  • Good writing skills for assessments and memos
  • Experience writing risk assessments and documents
  • Associates Degree (5-7 years of experience) or Bachelors Degree (3-5 years of experience)

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California.

Work Environment

Laboratory environment, small scale, one building with 70 people on site. Clean, quiet environment with a focus on getting work done. Work hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with the need to be reachable in case of emergency response situations.
