As a Pharmacy Technician in the Appeals department, you will handle the critical responsibility of working with Medicare and Medicaid patients, focusing primarily on Medicare cases. Your primary role involves processing denied Prior Authorizations by reviewing case information, reaching out for additional details, and preparing cases for Pharmacists' final determination. You will communicate directly with elderly members, addressing their concerns about denied medications, predominantly injectables administered at a doctor's office. This role requires making outbound calls per shift to resolve issues and ensure patient satisfaction.
MUST BE Nationally Certified Technician and Registered Pharmacy Technician in Indiana/Alabama/Michigan/South/North Carolina
