Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes. Each day, you will provide HR support for a defined team or location, by partnering with respective managers. You will also showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees.\n\nThe work model for the role is: hybrid Linkedin # hybrid\n\nThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Machine Automation division in Atlanta, GA.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\n \tEnsuring an effective overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and Shared Services.\n \tSupporting the business and the execution of HR processes involved across the end-to-end employee lifecycle by determining and delivering the best approach in the area of responsibility and executing the HR priorities while adding value to the business.\n \tPartnering with respective managers to develop and implement people strategies.\n \tFacilitating change management initiatives and driving behavior change & continuous improvement across the respective business area / area of responsibility.\n
Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, required.
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP or HR Lead role.
  • Proven experience in a multi-site, multi-country HR environment, with knowledge of local labor laws and employment practices for United States, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, and UKG.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations, talent management, change management, and organizational development.
  • Certification such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP is a plus.
  • Up to 10% travel, mostly in the region, with occasional other domestic and international travel; valid driver's license and passport required, with no barriers to travel.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
