Operations Manager Electronic Benefit Payments
Location: Remote
Salary: $115-185k
Sabot Consulting is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing large, complex IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of project management experience, including at least 4 years as a Senior Project Manager. This role requires extensive experience working with state or federal government agencies, particularly in areas related to disability insurance or unemployment insurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage large-scale IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining stakeholder management, to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify and manage project risks, including the development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to disability insurance and unemployment insurance.
  • Implement and manage Electronic Benefit Payment systems, such as The Money Network.
  • Provide regular project updates to client stakeholders and senior management.

Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, including 4 years as a Senior Project Manager on large, complex IT projects.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with state or federal government agencies in areas related to disability insurance or unemployment insurance.
Nice to have:
  • 2 years of experience with Electronic Benefit Payment implementations, such as The Money Network.
  • 7 years of risk management experience, preferably with a certification such as CGRC or FRM.
  • 7 years of experience with unemployment insurance or disability insurance.
