Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using tools and technologies such as Python, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Develop and implement data warehousing solutions and ETL processes to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and transformation.
  • Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance for efficient data retrieval and processing.
  • Leverage Microsoft Azure cloud services to design and deploy scalable data solutions within Azure Data Warehouse environments.
  • Utilize Azure Synapse and other Azure services to manage and analyze large datasets.
  • Engage in client-facing activities including requirements gathering, solution design, and presenting data-related insights and recommendations.
  • Offer consulting expertise to clients to address data challenges and improve data management practices.
  • Implement and monitor compliance measures to safeguard sensitive data and maintain regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of Data Engineering experience in data warehousing concepts, ETL concepts, and working with ETL/Data quality tools on any ETL platform.
  • At least 4 years of experience in writing complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and Performance tuning.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and data warehouse environment
  • At least 3 years of building, deploying, and troubleshooting pipelines in Python, Databricks, and ADF.
  • At least 3 years of analyzing and executing data profiles.
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Certification in database and data engineer roles
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Teradata and Azure Synapse
  • Client-facing consulting experience
  • Certifications related to Azure, Microsoft, AWS, and Snowflake
