About Us & The Role
Block Party is a social media agency working with major non-profits, comedians, musicians, and media companies. So far in 2024, our clients collectively have over 130 viral videos-- each with over a million organic views on either Instagram Reels or TikTok.
This is a fully remote 3-month contract role, and we are looking to offer a full-time position assuming the contract period is successful. You would focus on 3 core areas:
- Project managing day-to-day social media content creation for public figures, major non-profits, and brands.
- Working across a team of a dozen people-- including creative directors, video editors, graphic / motion designers, videographers, copywriters, and account managers.
- Managing workflow in Monday and overseeing client-facing content calendars.
- Designing creative and strategic solutions to improve company processes and efficiency.
Qualities needed for the role:
- highly organized, independent, and assertive
- appreciative of non-traditional thinking
- ability to juggle multiple projects in fast-paced environment
- preference for working remotely
- availability to work some evenings and weekends when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Project Management or related degree
- 2-5 years of professional project management experience at a social media agency
- Detailed knowledge of all product features and assets specs for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube
- Experience using social publishing, scheduling, and analytics tools
- Deep knowledge of video editing and graphic / motion design process and tools
- Strong communicator and strategic thinker
