JD For DevOps Tech Lead:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of DevOps projects, ensuring alignment with customer and business requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous integration, deployment, and delivery across multiple environments.
• Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and ensure the automation of cloud resources through tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable delivery of software products.
• Manage cloud infrastructure in environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Automate and streamline operational processes, monitoring systems, and build workflows using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Lead technical discussions, offer solutions to bottlenecks in delivery processes, and optimize operational efficiencies.
• Act as a key stakeholder in incident management and post-incident root cause analysis, ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future improvements.
• Oversee deployment orchestration, provisioning, and environment management in coordination with development teams.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery, failover, and high availability strategies.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the DevOps lifecycle, including monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Lead DevOps-related client-facing interactions, managing expectations and deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to align DevOps processes with project timelines and quality expectations.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in DevOps with at least 5 years in a leadership or technical lead role.
• Extensive experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of security principles in cloud environments, including compliance, data protection, and vulnerability management.
• Ability to manage complex environments and infrastructure, driving operational excellence and optimizing resource usage.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with the ability to guide and grow a technical team.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, ELK stack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
