Reports to the Installation and Service Manager (ISM). You will be responsible for assisting consumers, builders, contractors, architects, and designers to facilitate the proper installation and service of building materials. Requirements:
  • Assist the installation and service manager with all aspects of product service, repair, fabrication, and installation of doors, windows, and specialty millwork whether on a job site or in Warehouse #1.
  • Maintain Warehouse #1 shop tools and machines. Maintain upkeep and cleanliness. Create monthly maintenance schedules for equipment and building systems.
  • Ensure all work strictly adheres to manufacturers instructions and warranties.
  • Ensure that all products are installed in a safe and permanently secure manner to guarantee proper flashing (water and air intrusion), performance, and operation for the life of the product.
  • Respond promptly (within 24 hrs) to service requests
  • Coordinate vendor/manufacturer service programs at the request of the ISM.
  • Lead and manage subcontractors when needed for installation assistance onsite.
  • Conduct installation and service presentations with architects, contractors, and carpenters at the request of the ISM.
  • Work and communicate with coworkers, customers, and homeowners at the highest level of professionalism. Refer to the code of conduct and customer interaction standards policies.
  • Dress professionally and appropriately for safety and requirements for job duties.
  • Travel to vendor workshops, training sessions, and manufacturing facilities. Continually build product knowledge and refine service and installation techniques.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and/or fully engage in disputes/issues of any kind
