  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client, leading leader in life sciences and diagnostics, is looking for a Biospecimen Associate II .

Duration: Long term contract (Possibility of further extension)
Location: Tucson, AZ

Pay Range : $24/hr on W2

Responsibilities:
  • Collect inclusion and exclusion criteria for projects.
  • Manage and facilitate conversations between external vendors, project teams, and pathologists.
  • Create and manage purchase orders for external purchases.
  • Search internal databases for inventory appropriate for project needs.
  • Manage procurement and QA expectations.
Skills:
  • Experience with oncology terminology.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with biological sample procurement.
  • Familiarity with FFPE (formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded) material.
Education:
  • Associate's Degree in a biological discipline or related field and 3 years of relevant work experience,
  • Bachelor s degree in a biological discipline or related field.
  • Laborant/Technical Assistant (2-3 years) plus 2 years of additional education (Technician).
  • Apprenticeship of 2-4 years and several years of relevant work experience.
