Description of the role:

The Service Lane Manager will be responsible for overseeing the service department at Genesis of Charlotte. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team of service advisors and technicians. The Service Lane Manager will ensure that the service department operates efficiently and provides exceptional customer service to all Genesis customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of service advisors
  • Oversee the scheduling of appointments and ensure timely completion of services
  • Monitor service lane performance
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues
  • Train and mentor service department staff
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall dealership operations

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a service department management role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with dealership software and systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
