PARCView / Manufacturing Application Support Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA or Green Bay, WI preferred, position could be fully remote / work from home if candidates are not found in those two cities
Expert Technical Solutions is seeking a PARCView Technical Analyst to manage and support the day-to-day operations of the PARCView system, ensuring its alignment with company goals and user requirements. ParcView is a Manufacturing Analytics software. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders users, developers, and business leaders to gather requirements, address challenges, and ensure the product meets expectations. The ideal candidate will also oversee the administration of the PARCView system, managing configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the PARCView system, aligning it with organizational goals and user needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and ensure the solution meets expectations.
  • Administer the PARCView system, including configuration, software updates, licensing, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the PARCView platform, maintaining system performance and reliability.
  • Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for training and reference purposes.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Integrate PARCView with other data sources and systems to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Convert legacy PI displays and assets to PARCView, ensuring functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Share knowledge across mill sites to enhance solution delivery and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in an IT Application Support or operations role within a manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a software platform owner.
  • Familiarity with PARCView, PI ProcessBook, PI Vision, or similar process visualization tools (e.g., SCADA, HMI).
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript for automation.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Understanding of industrial data systems and protocols (e.g., OPC, SCADA) for data acquisition.
