  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Summary:

The Sr. Technical Program Manager will lead and execute large-scale migrations of customer applications to new platforms or technologies. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a meticulous approach to ensure a smooth and successful transition for customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with executive leadership of AMEX. Clearly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
  • Plan and scope the project: Define project objectives, deliverables, and dependencies in collaboration with stakeholders across various teams, including engineering, product, security, compliance, and operations.
  • Design and implement the migration strategy: Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement a migration strategy that minimizes disruption to customers and ensures a seamless transition.
  • Manage application testing and validation: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the migrated applications' functionality, performance, and compatibility with the new platform.
  • Manage cutover and post-migration activities: Coordinate the cutover process to migrate customers to the new platform and ensure a smooth transition. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during the post-migration period.
  • Document and report on progress: Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, specifications, test results, and migration reports. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on complex application migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, software development methodologies, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with application migration tools and processes with an emphasis in java, mainframe, pega, dot net tech stack

Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
