Description
The successful candidate will work closely with Apple's Infrastructure and application teams to create, review and test disaster recovery plans. The scope of this role will be in both Apple owned data centers, 1st and 3rd party cloud environments and colocation datacenters. The role includes the responsibility for all aspects of resiliency and disaster recovery and will require strong project, time and people management skills, including:Driving multi-functional efforts: Drive meetings with product and service teams to facilitate technical and functional collaboration, including assisting in Pull-the-Plug programCreating and managing project plans: Define vital technical tasks, dependencies, and establish clear timelines for Infrastructure Services teams and application teams to meet program objectivesCreate technical roadmaps: Define vital technical tasks, dependencies, and establish clear timelines for Infrastructure Services teams to meet program objectivesMonitor progress: Track and assess progress towards achieving crucial program achievements, ensuring alignment with program objectivesDocumentation management: Maintain detailed and comprehensive technical and functional documentation for stakeholdersStatus reporting: Generate detailed progress reports on a weekly basis, communicating achievements, challenges, and timely updates to partners
