  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

Our Tucson, Arizona client has a contract opportunity for a Biospecimen Associate who is responsible for collecting inclusion and exclusion criteria for projects.

Job Description:

  • Manage and facilitate conversations between external vendors, project team and pathologist
  • Create and manage purchase orders for external purchases.
  • Search internal database for inventory internally appropriate for the project needs.
  • Manage Procurement and QA expectations


Skills needed:

  • Experience with oncology terminology
  • Experience with Human Anatomy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational skills


Desired skills:

  • Biological sample procurement
  • experience with FFPE material.


Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree in a biological discipline or a related field and 3 years of relevant work experience
    OR
  • Bachelor's degree in biological discipline or related field
  • OR
  • Lab/Technical Assistant (2-3 yrs) + 2 yrs. additional education (Technician)
  • Apprenticeship of 2-4 years and several years of relevant work experience
