Seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Supply Chain Management ERP Business Analyst to join a high-growth distribution company. In this role, you will work closely with IT and Operations leadership to enhance existing systems and associated integrations, facilitate the selection and implementation of new tools, and analyze business processes for proper controls and continuous improvement. You will also support the maintenance and enhancement of applications crucial to our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with software and professional services organizations, ensuring our systems evolve to meet the demands of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ERP System Enhancement and Maintenance:
    • Collaborate with IT and Operations leadership to enhance existing ERP systems, ensuring that all systems and integrations function efficiently and align with business needs.
    • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of ERP applications to ensure they meet evolving operational requirements.
  2. Requirements Gathering & Implementation of New Tools:
    • Facilitate and manage requirements gathering sessions to identify business needs for new tools and technologies within the supply chain management space.
    • Lead or support the selection and implementation of new ERP tools and software, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with existing systems and contribute to operational efficiency.
  3. Business Process Analysis & Improvement:
    • Analyze current operations business processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure that appropriate controls are in place.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize operational performance and supply chain efficiency.
  4. Collaboration with External Partners:
    • Work closely with software vendors and professional services organizations to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood, solutions are effectively implemented, and ongoing support is provided.
    • Coordinate with external partners on system enhancements, troubleshooting, and deployment of new functionalities.
  5. System Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Provide ongoing support for ERP and related applications, addressing user inquiries and system issues in a timely manner.
    • Serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams to resolve system-related challenges and ensure continuous operational effectiveness.
  6. Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze supply chain data and generate reports to inform decision-making and continuous process improvement.
    • Provide insights based on system data to help leadership make informed operational and strategic decisions.
  7. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage ERP-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Track project milestones and ensure effective communication between internal teams and external partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst role within supply chain management or ERP systems, preferably within a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar) and their application within supply chain processes. Proficiency in process mapping and system integration.
  • Project Management: Experience in leading ERP implementation projects or similar large-scale technology initiatives. Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners, including software vendors and professional services organizations.
