WORK SCHEDULE for the IT Support Technician I
This full-time position is On-site, Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
SALARY for the IT Support Technician I (Starting at $25.00 hourly)
Any offered salary is determined based on competency and skills, prior relevant experience, required degrees/certifications, internal equity within the organization, and market competition.
ABOUT YOU
As an IT Support Technician I, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, both over the phone and in person. You'll troubleshoot a variety of hardware, software, and peripheral issues, support printers and conference rooms, and manage IT inventory from start to finish. Your role is critical in ensuring a smooth workflow for our end users and representing the entire IS department.
Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with end users and leadership.
- Excellent listening skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with documenting issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

You should be confident communicating with individuals across all levels of the organization and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned technicians, expanding your knowledge in areas like hardware and network support, Microsoft OS and applications, Apple devices, audiovisual systems, and printer support.
