Job Title: Project Manager

Summary:

The Project Manager will lead efforts for multiple security initiatives to help develop a robust, modernized security program. The role involves working with various stakeholders to ensure the protection, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization s resources, in line with the business's cybersecurity risk exposure.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Conduct meetings to align business areas on engagement objectives, timeline, roles, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and IT resources to create detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to execute project activities according to defined requirements.
  • Serve as the Point of Contact (POC) for vendors, facilitating timely business responses to vendor questions.
  • Assist business and technical leads in prioritizing activities to meet project requirements.
  • Monitor project results against established timelines, tasks, and technical specifications.
  • Manage project status reporting, keeping all levels of management informed of progress.
  • Track and follow up on risks, issues, and constraints, escalating as needed.
  • Maintain and manage project documentation, ensuring version control and availability.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with security and departmental policies and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical project management.
  • Strong operational and project management skills, with PMI and Agile project management experience.
  • Proven ability to foster a collaborative work environment and demonstrate leadership.
  • Prior experience in security and/or compliance, with familiarity with NIST Risk Management, FIPS 199, 200, NIST 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls, and NIST 800-60.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills required in project environments.
