Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documents.
Perform and coordinate due diligence, including reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate the closing of real estate transactions, such as acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. This includes managing signature page packages, confirming checklist contents, and handling recording requirements.
Prepare, review, and file UCC financing statements.
Order and evaluate UCC, lien, litigation, and related searches.
Manage entity formation and maintenance, including required filings.
Review and assemble officer s certificates, resolutions, organizational documents, and closing deliverables, with familiarity in drafting these under attorney supervision preferred.
Create and assemble closing books with detailed indices.
Handle special assignments involving routine fact or legal research, report preparation, and associated filings.
Interface with clients and external parties on assigned matters.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor s or Associate s degree required, or a Paralegal Certificate with equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of real estate experience, preferably within a law firm, in-house legal department, or title company.
Experience with large and complex transactions preferred. Proficiency in title and survey review required.
Hospitality sector experience is a plus but not required.

Strong technical skills and an ability to quickly learn new software.
Additional Desired Characteristics
Familiarity with drafting legal documents based on precedent under attorney supervision is preferred.
Ability to work productively with all levels of lawyers, paraprofessionals, and business services team members.
Work Environment
This position requires flexibility in working hours, including potential overtime.
The role may involve travel on a case-by-case basis, depending on the needs of the practice group.
