  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description: Manual Tester (MapR to Snowflake)

Location: Charlotte, NC-Hybrid

8+ years of experience required.

Overview:
We are seeking a Manual Tester to join our team working on a data migration project from MapR to Snowflake. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of data during and after the migration process.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing to validate data integrity before and after the migration.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand migration processes and verify outcomes.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for data migration validation.
  • Identify and report discrepancies or issues in migrated data.
  • Coordinate with the team to resolve any data quality issues.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Snowflake and MapR.
  • Python or other scripting experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to automation tools for testing will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
