Responsibilities:

• We are seeking an experienced Infra Ops Specialist with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Unix Shell Scripting, Ruby, Python, and Pagerduty.
• Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus.
• This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.
• Provide excellent customer service and product support to PagerDuty supporting teams Identify and resolve team issues, taking escalations from Tier 1 Support Successfully debug and resolve customer email and BMC requests through the use of varied ticketing,
• content and task management tools Set up monitoring systems, integrating them with PagerDuty and documenting the whole process
• Write custom scripts, code samples and integration guides for customer use Adding your own suggestions and efficiencies to improve our documentation, processes, and knowledge base
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience writing code in Ruby, Python, Perl, or other popular programming languages Know your way around Unix systems and tools
• The ability to write about technical subjects clearly and in an engaging style
• Hands-on experience in a technical or product support capacity while supporting teams in the use of Software or SaaS Solution
• Experience with monitoring systems and other tools that PagerDuty integrates with 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps roles
• Experience managing multiple Kubernetes clusters in a production environment
• Experience working on cloud-native infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
• Experience deploying web applications on Kubernetes (Helm, ArgoCD)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (ie. Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of a dynamic language like (ie. Ruby or Python)
• Need to know external and internal status dashboards and providing it to respective teams.
