Description:

  • As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure projects, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality infrastructure & operations platform that meet business requirements and is delivered on time and within budget.
  • You will work closely with infrastructure & development teams, product owners, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project milestones are met, risks are identified and managed, and project issues are resolved in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the delivery of multiple key technical projects through the complete lifecycle from inception to closure.
  • This includes, ensuring that projects are formally set up, resources are mobilized.
  • Creating and ongoing maintenance of project plans, communication plans and RAID logs.
  • Governance frameworks and quality gates are enforced and ultimately ensuring projects are delivered to budget, quality and on schedule.
  • Proactively analyse variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments.
  • Identify signs that a project may be at risk and take appropriate action.
  • Strong stakeholder management skillsets with the ability to work at all levels within an organization.
  • Understanding of business change methodology and the drivers of successful change management.
  • Strong Project Management skills with a proven track record of successful implementation of technical multi-faceted IT solutions working in collaboration with engineering teams, consultants, vendors, analysts, and developers.
  • Good knowledge of information security principles and practices.
  • Experience of using a variety of project management tools and techniques e.g., Agile, Project, Waterfall, etc.
  • The ability to present information professionally and in a format suitable to its intended audience.
  • Strong analytical skills, being a team player and possessing the ability to manage complex processes, systems and technology.
  • Able to translate technical requirements into business language and explain technology concepts in layman terms.
  • Experience working with Atlassian Jira & Confluence.
  • Experience in delivering projects within the over-the-top streaming services and/or broadcast industry.
  • A good understanding of SDLC and basic software development practices.
  • Lead identified projects and activities under the Infrastructure Workstream
  • Key activities include
    • Build, maintain, and drive project plan
    • Build and promote project scope, reports, and other project artifacts as needed
    • Evaluate and recommend core documentation and artifacts to be built for program, workstream, and project level use
    • Execute development and publication of program documentation, processes, and reporting
    • Re-plan project timelines, scope, and major milestones with dependencies in collaboration with wider CIS Integration team and IT PMO/IMO

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure project management.
  • Strong experience in managing infrastructure projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project
  • Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiar with Scrum methodologies
