We are seeking a skilled Erwin Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. As an Erwin Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing and implementing database structures using Erwin Data Modeler software. You will collaborate closely with database developers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure that data modeling solutions meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop database models using Erwin Data Modeler based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Erwin developer will be used for creating a visual representation of either a whole information system or parts of it to communicate connections between data points and structures using the Erwin tool.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new database systems or enhancements to existing systems.
- Optimize and refactor existing database structures to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implement data governance policies and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
- Work closely with database administrators and developers to translate data model designs into physical databases.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of database issues.
- Document data models, database designs, and related processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior data modelers and team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Erwin Data Modeler or similar role in database design and management.
- In-depth understanding of data modeling concepts, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using Erwin Data Modeler or similar data modeling tools.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e. g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e. g., Erwin Data Modeler certification) would be a plus.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e. g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and big data technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e. g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
