Asset Management and Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Asset Management and Support Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This role is accountable for monitoring, installing, configuring and troubleshooting a wide variety of issues on servers and workstations. As well as accountability for the management of all IT assets for Build-A-Bear and ensure proper focus is placed on asset management to positively impact our cost of doing business and our ability to grow and scale.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets (hardware, software, licenses) and oversee the deployment and distribution of assets to end-users or relevant departments throughout their lifecycle
• Develop and implement asset lifecycle management processes, including retirement and disposal procedures
• Monitor, install, configure, update, test, and troubleshoot a wide variety of issues on servers and workstations
• Perform root cause analysis for complex, repetitive issues
• Act as an escalation point for internal IT service desk to provide advanced systems support to Build-A-Bear stores and corporate offices.
• Work closely with Core Infrastructure, IT Security, Enterprise Systems, and Development teams to support hardware, software, networking, and security tools

Required Qualifications:

• 2 or 4 year degree in Information Technology
• 5 years' experience in both asset management systems and IT hardware/software administration
• IT A+ Certification in asset management
• Powershell Scripting
• Configuration ManagerIntune

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP)
• Certification in Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager and/or Azure
