Located at Notre Dame, IN, this part-time opportunity (30-36 hours per week) offers flexibility in your schedule, with hours between 8 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. It also provides a competitive salary of $54,000 - $60,000 per year and a complete benefits package!

DELVE DEEPER INTO YOUR DAY

As our part-time Marketing Communications Specialist, you'll advance the Office of Vocations' priorities and goals. You'll develop compelling content across web, print, and social media platforms to promote vocations to the priesthood and brotherhood in Holy Cross. Your efforts will reach individuals who are discerning their call and help increase awareness of our formation programs and outreach initiatives.

You'll take ownership of Ave Crux Magazine, create powerful narratives that resonate with readers, design high-quality print materials, and manage our website to ensure it remains dynamic and engaging. You'll also oversee our social media presence, curate impactful photography, collaborate with influential partners, and evaluate the effectiveness of your campaigns through data-driven analysis. Your creative ideas and proactive approach will be vital in growing our mission!


DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, Google Workplace, various forms of social media platforms, internet search systems and search engine optimizers, contact management systems, and online communication and website tools
  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as copiers, telephones, and voicemail systems
  • Great project management skills
  • Basic photo editing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance

Having prior experience is a plus! Knowledge of common web coding languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.) would be a bonus. Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, web content creation, website management systems, social media management platforms, and SEO and analytics is highly preferred. Additionally, knowledge of the Catholic Church and clergy, experience working for a Catholic organization, and specific knowledge of the Congregation of Holy Cross would be ideal but is not required for this part-time Marketing Communications Specialist role.
