Commonwealth ot PA is hiring for Data Analyst in Harrisburg, PA its 100% onsite role.

The technical Data Analyst lead provides technical design expertise and will play a pivotal role in addressing identified issues within the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation's (OVR) data management system in the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS). This position involves developing solutions, creating an overall plan, and building necessary reports. The primary focus areas include improving data management practices, tracking and reporting on the data for Measurable Skills Gains (MSG), and Credential Attainment, Pre-ETS(Pre-Employment Transition Services), and other OVR performance parameters.

Role: BI Data Analyst

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Duration: 12+ Months

This is 100% onsite job opening, Candidate must be located in PA

The incumbent should have advanced data analytical skills, leadership abilities and lead responsibility for the following activities within the assigned project.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in aggregating and analysing data using Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) Crystal reports.
  • Experience in in writing SQL and MDX queries for data analysis
  • Experience with SSRS, SSIS and ETL tools
  • Data Visualization tools such as Lumira and power BI
  • Experience working with Python. Soap UI
  • Experience with Compliance and digital accessibility controls
  • Experience with PM methodologies and/or managing & tracking a project against a project plan
  • Experience with assisting testing efforts to include reviewing test scenarios for UAT and organizing users to Facilitate effective tests
  • Experience working to facilitate collaboration across the full range of executive, business, and technical resources
