Primary Responsibilities:
- Formulate Software Requirement Specification (SRS) documents to align with the functional requirements impacting technical file specifications including Mail.dat and Mail.XML.
- Oversee, revise, and sustain all current technical specifications and manuals, and form new ones as needed to facilitate new or modified features within various systems.
- Execute Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) encompassing the review of Technical Requirement Documents (TRD), the creation and amendment of test scripts, conducting customer acceptance tests, executing production checks via smoke and functional testing, documenting test findings, and supplying required testing evidence, including TLSC documentation and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Actively engage in discussions and contribute in postal industry assemblies/forums and the Mailer Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) within workgroups, task groups, and user circles.
- Construct performance indicators to monitor and report the progress of Customer Acceptance Testing.
- Craft automated test scripts.
- Generate training content, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and manuals concerning affected CPPP applications.
- Undertake additional tasks as necessitated.
Experience Requirements:
- Candidates should possess 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally within the field of technology or software development.
- Proficiency with Mail.DAT and Mail.XML, which are critical for the electronic exchange of mailing information, is preferred.
- Proven ability in defining and documenting business processes and requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing business procedures with a view towards suggesting enhancements.
- Track record of creating both manual and automated test scripts, conducting customer or user acceptance testing, documenting test outcomes, and delivering test evidence.
- Experience in validating production through various testing methods such as smoke, regression, and functional testing; responsible for documenting test results and providing corresponding artifacts.
- Familiarity with handling data files and formats, such as CSV, XML, JSON, and working with relational databases.
- Competency using Microsoft O365 suite including Excel, Word, Project, Visio, Access, and Workflow.
- Practical experience in scripting languages, such as SQL, Java, Python, is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with testing in Agile and/or Waterfall development environments.
- A software testing certification is an added advantage.
