Cinematic Animator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Motion Designer/Cinematic Animator.

Summary:
The main function of an Animator is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical Animator needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:
* Cinematic Animator will plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communication problems
* Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design
* As a Cinematic Animator, you will prepare sketches or layouts to present to client
* Create charts and graphs from data given

Typical Day in the Role:
* Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is that they are the storytelling studio for product leaders
* Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 50% meetings and 50% design work

REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's degree in Design and/or Certificate in Graphic Design required; Bachelor's degree in Design or related field preferred; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, or a related field preferred
* 8-10 overall years of experience in the field
* Must have minimum 8 years of experience with audio/video production
* Must have minimum 8 years of experience with motion animation
* Must have minimum 8 years of experience with design programs (example: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, and Cinema 4D)
* Portfolio must include UI click-throughs and UI animation examples
* Portfolio must be submitted with resume - the team does a lot of simulated UI scenarios, so if they've done click throughs animated click throughs through UI that would be great
* Proven experience as a Motion Designer/Editor or Animator with a strong portfolio
* Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma
* Advanced skills in Maxon Cinema 4D/Redshift
* Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and composition
* Solid understanding of emerging AI capabilities
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work quickly within short timelines
* Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking to overcome technical challenges
* Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
* The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
