Senior Guidewire Rating Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking to hire a Senior Guidewire Rating Business Analyst in Canton, MA.

Responsibilities will include:
* Help the client (business side) define new Rating (rate book/rating routine) for Commercial Auto in the state of MA and design GW PC Rating and GW PC for this new Rating
* Work in a fast paced cross functional Agile (Scrum/SAFe) work environment
* Lead requirements through GW PC/Rating design
* Work with client SME to elicit business and technical requirements
* Conduct and facilitate workshops/JAD sessions, etc., with internal and client stake holders; Seek timely approvals from the client SME/stakeholders
* Gather requirements for - Guidewire Rating- module (Rate book, rate table, rate routines)
* Develop functional specifications in the form of User Stories, process flows, use cases, data mappings leveraging tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, etc.
* Conduct user story/sprint demonstrations at the end of sprint/release
* Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospective sessions
* Conduct end user training by means of workshops, training guides and operation manuals
* Work with globally distributed across geographies for the purpose of delivering
* Work with internal development, testing teams to support requirements clarifications throughout the project execution

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in documenting specification for Rating (Rate book, rate table and rate routines)
* Experienced at gathering, defining, and organizing business and functional requirements including acceptance criteria for use by developers and tester to implement and test a functionality
* Experience working on Java, DBMS, Cloud, Integrations (Web Services, Message Queues, Service Bus), DevOps, Web/Mobile developments using Angular/React, etc.
* Excellent Domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Commercial Auto Insurance, specific to Rating. Understand how to design and implement new Rating in GW PC Rating Cloud
* Detailed knowledge of Guidewire applications specifically PolicyCenter and Rating
* Guidewire, Edge and REST APIs
* Management tools like Confluence, Jira, Rally, HP ALM
* Microsoft Office suite, Visio, etc.
* Ability to lead and facilitate the requirements gathering sessions and work with GW Developers, Testers and Config

* Passion to keep up to date on P&C best practices and new solutions to support best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
