Healthcare Recruiter

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Recruiter to join our client’s team! Since 1995, our client has been a leader in physician practice management in Southern California, overseeing more than 200 clinics.

As a Recruiter, you will work closely with Regional Managers and the HR team to provide end-to-end recruitment services across various departments, including our corporate office, doctors, and clinics. You'll be responsible for crafting and executing a strategic recruitment plan that meets the evolving needs of our fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to post and sponsor job ads for open positions.
  • Source and screen candidates through online platforms to build a qualified talent pool.
  • Conduct interviews at various stages, including phone screens, first-round, and second-round interviews, providing feedback as necessary.
  • Issue offer letters and assist in conducting new hire orientation to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Report on the status of open positions to hiring managers and the HR Director, keeping them informed of progress.
  • Establish qualification criteria for each position based on the needs and requirements of the role.
  • Analyze turnover and retention rates to anticipate future hiring needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, promoting open positions and the organization’s culture.
  • Manage deadlines effectively while maintaining a sense of urgency in filling open roles.
  • Collaborate across all levels of management to ensure alignment with hiring needs and expectations.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist with a strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
  • Proficiency in using various interview formats and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases to streamline recruitment processes.
  • Experience with DocuSign for managing digital offer letters and contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to support recruitment reporting and presentations.
  • Healthcare recruitment experience, hiring for roles such as Front Desk staff, Medical Technicians, Medical Assistants, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners.
  • Experience hiring for corporate healthcare positions such as Medical Coders, Credentialing Specialists, Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialists, and Compliance Officers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of state and federal labor laws relevant to employment and selection.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming recruitment challenges.
