Responsibilities
- Reports to Country Head directly
- Establish and lead the HR team
- Works closely with senior management team, and leads the HR team in administering the full spectrum of HR management activities in tandem with business development plans
- This includes the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures, manpower budgets, talent acquisition strategies, design of compensation and benefits programs, etc
- Manage employee relations, resolve complaints and disciplinary issues, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives, creating a work environment that prioritizes diversity and fosters an inclusive atmosphere for equal opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree; candidates with MBA will have a strong advantage
- At least 12-15 years of relevant working experience in HR with at least 5 years in leadership roles in retail/ F&B industries in US
- Prior experience in setting up the HR department will have a strong advantage
- Hands-on and can-do altitude
- Willing to travel for work regularly
