Sr SQL Developer

Role: Sr SQL Developer NYC - Remote Long Term Contract

Required Skills: 11+ Years of experience as a SQL Developer SQL Developer with experience in mainframe migrations to transactional systems. Complex data cleansing, type conversions, SSIS, and complex stored procedure development.

Database Management
SQL (Structured Query Language): Proficient in writing queries, subqueries, joins, and set operations.
Database Design: Understanding of normalization, relationships, indexes, constraints, and keys.
Stored Procedures and Functions: Writing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Database Modeling: Experience in designing and implementing database schemas.
Database Administration: Basic knowledge of database backups, recovery, and security.

ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
ETL Processes: Experience with data migration, transformation, and loading.
SSIS, Talend, Informatica: Familiarity with ETL tools for integrating data from multiple sources.

Database Technologies
Relational Databases: Experience with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.
NoSQL Databases: Knowledge of non-relational databases like MongoDB or Cassandra can be an added advantage.

Data Analytics and Reporting
Data Analysis: Ability to interpret and analyze data for business insights.
BI Tools: Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).

Scripting and Programming
T-SQL/PL-SQL: Strong proficiency in Transact-SQL (for SQL Server)
Scripting Languages: Basic knowledge of PowerShell for automation tasks.

Version Control and Collaboration
Git or other version control systems for managing database code.
Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence.

Security and Compliance
