Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join Their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of advanced robotics systems used in automotive manufacturing. You will work directly with customers, providing technical support and ensuring that our robotics solutions are operating efficiently to meet production needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and calibrate robotic systems and equipment at automotive manufacturing facilities.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Provide preventive maintenance services to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct system upgrades and modifications as required to improve performance or accommodate changes in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to provide feedback from the field, contributing to product improvements.
- Train customer staff on the operation and basic maintenance of robotics systems.
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation of field activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures during service operations.
- Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues promptly to minimize production disruption.
- Support customer inquiries, providing technical guidance and recommendations for system optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience in a field service role.
- 3+ years of experience in field service engineering, preferably in robotics, automation, or automotive manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge of robotic systems, automation equipment, and industrial control systems.
- Proficient in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software issues in complex systems.
- Experience with automotive manufacturing environments and robotic technologies such as industrial arms, conveyors, and vision systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and internal teams effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PLC programming and industrial networking.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes such as welding, assembly, and painting.
- Familiarity with robotic brands such as Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or similar.
