Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ENDUR Developer to join our team in Houston, TX, responsible for developing and maintaining customizations and enhancements for the OpenLink ENDUR trading platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of energy and commodities trading, risk management, and trade lifecycle, combined with hands-on experience in ENDUR development and configuration.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance solutions within the ENDUR platform to meet business requirements in the energy and commodities trading space.

Implement customizations, including AVS/JVS scripting, OpenComponents, and Connex Framework.

Work closely with business stakeholders and traders to understand trading processes and provide technical solutions that improve performance and efficiency.

Ensure that development aligns with best practices, architecture standards, and industry compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, traders, and testers, to gather and refine requirements.

Provide production support and troubleshoot issues within the ENDUR environment.

Participate in testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and go-live processes for new enhancements and upgrades.

Optimize the performance of trading systems, ensuring low latency and high availability.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience as an ENDUR Developer, preferably in the energy or commodities trading sector.

Strong knowledge of ENDUR architecture, modules, and trade lifecycle processes.

Expertise in AVS/JVS scripting, OpenComponents, Connex Framework, and OpenLink APIs.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or .NET.

Experience with SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).

Familiarity with Endur extensions for trade capture, risk management, and settlement processes.

Experience working with energy trading and risk management systems (ETRM/CTRM).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and software development best practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of energy commodities markets (oil, gas, power, renewables).

Familiarity with Endur upgrades and migration processes.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of regulatory requirements in the trading sector (e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR).

Education

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in OpenLink Endur or energy trading systems are a plus.
