  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a Technical EDI Consultant with specialized expertise in Infor LX (formerly BPCS) to join our dynamic team as W2 employee. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals to work remotely, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to meaningful projects.

If you have a strong background in EDI implementations and extensive hands-on experience with Infor LX/BPCS, we encourage you to apply! We're looking for a contractor who can deliver seamless integration and effective solutions for our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement EDI solutions within the Infor LX/BPCS environment.

  • Manage and ensure smooth integration of EDI transactions between trading partners, suppliers, customers, and the organization.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EDI transactions and system integrations.

  • Collaborate with external trading partners to establish and maintain EDI connections.

  • Customize and configure EDI setups, including EDI formats such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and communication protocols like AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN.

  • Set up and maintain EDI monitoring tools to track transaction statuses, quickly identify errors, and ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Provide ongoing support for EDI interfaces and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and partner-specific requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience working with EDI technologies in an Infor LX (BPCS) environment.

  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining EDI solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of EDI formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN.

  • Hands-on experience with EDI mapping tools and software like Gentran, Sterling Integrator, Seeburger, Trusted Link (TlI / TLE).

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex EDI and system integration issues.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
