  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Technology Communications, Cybersecurity Awareness & Training Content Specialist

This position will be responsible for crafting content in various formats, to support technology communications overall, starting with a specific focus on cybersecurity awareness & training. The position will also be responsible for conceiving, developing, and implementing cybersecurity awareness campaigns based on the latest cybersecurity best practices, secure behaviors, and threat landscape, and promoting a strong organizational cyber culture.

Job Specific Requirements

  1. Develop engaging and informative content, communications, and cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives geared towards specific and varying audiences.
  2. Utilize diverse and original content forms (e.g., articles, posters, board games, videos, flyers, learning modules, etc.) to raise the effectiveness of the content with intended audiences.
  3. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of content (e.g., security awareness initiatives in place etc.) through various metrics (e.g., engagement, behavioral etc.).
  4. Assist with design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity awareness roadmaps.
  5. Identify and interpret relevant metrics that measure the effectiveness of content.
  6. Organize cybersecurity awareness events as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

  1. Fluency in communicating in the English language both written and spoken.
  2. Ability to communicate complex subject matter in a simple, clear, and concise manner to various stakeholder groups within the organization.
  3. Project management experience, the ability to plan, manage and maintain multiple time-bound tasks.
  4. Practical knowledge of different message distribution techniques to ensure effective end user consumption of content.

Desired Skills and Experience

  1. Experience as an author, editor, or contributor to literary work.
  2. A basic understanding of the different concepts of information security and/or risk management.
