Data Architect

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Dedicated SQL Pools, and Azure SQL Database.
• 1 or more years of experience as a Data Architect.
• Proficiency in T-SQL, including DDL, DML, and advanced stored procedures.
• Experience in data architecture design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with data governance and compliance standards for security and privacy.
• Experience in integrating data from diverse sources and managing large data pipelines.
• Experience in cloud computing concepts, specifically within Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and gather requirements.
• Design and implement data architectures aligning with business objectives.
• Manage and optimize Dedicated SQL Pools for large-scale analytics workloads.
• Design and manage databases for high performance and security.
• Develop and oversee ETL processes using Synapse Pipelines.
• Implement data governance practices and maintain the data catalog.
• Communicate effectively with team members to address complex data challenges.
