ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Technical Capabilities
o Design, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and hardware.
o Manage and optimize Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.
o Oversee VMware environment, including virtual machine management, resource allocation, and performance optimization.
o Lead various IT projects, such as implementing and deploying business applications (server/client or web-based).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A four-year college degree in technical fields such as computer science, electrical engineering, etc.
6+ years' experience in network infrastructure design and implementation.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems (Windows Server), Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.
In-depth understanding of VMware virtualization technologies.
Experience with Veeam backup and recovery solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python).

o Collaborate with network engineers to maintain network infrastructure and connectivity.
o Evaluate and implement cloud-based solutions, primarily leveraging Microsoft Azure.
o Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect the organization's IT infrastructure.
o Ensure the security of the enterprise by applying NIST and industry best practices. Collaborate with the CISO to implement appropriate hardening configurations.
o Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
o Stay up-to-date with emerging IT technologies and industry best practices.
o Manage and maintain storage systems, including SAN environments.
o Evaluate and implement colocation strategies as needed.
