  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role: Mainframe Developer Programmer Analyst

Location: US Remote

Scope/Description of Services

The Worker(s) will provide the following services:

  • an experienced skilled programmer with strong proficiency in Natural programming language. Must have extensive, proven experience as a Natural developer and an in-depth understanding of mainframe systems. The candidate will support the development, architecture, and overall administration of projects and mainframe operations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Design, develop and maintain Mainframe Natural program and JCL to meet project and operations.
  • Be part of project and operations teams to develop necessary analysis and documentation collaboratively.
  • Adhere to change control processes and procedures defined by the agency.
  • Interface with business and IT teams to understand business needs and translate requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
  • Together with application users, identify the possibility of automating existing manual processes through the data integration of mainframe and external (non-mainframe) systems.
  • Work with IT support teams to ensure support and project requirements are developed and implemented successfully.
  • Develop and execute unit test and system test plans to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
  • Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle.
  • Develop or assist in developing test plans and test activities and/or execute test components to ensure new programs meet business requirements and function as needed.
  • Review and assist in reviewing documentation and performing quality assurance to ensure compliance with program requirements and procedural standards for the assigned project.
  • Maintain a reliable and predictable work schedule. Worker may be requested to work outside of normal business hours to sustain operations or complete urgent assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to maintain IT operations.
