Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled EDI Analyst to join our team. The EDI Analyst will be responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes to ensure smooth and efficient communication between our company and its trading partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EDI standards, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience working with various EDI software and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain EDI transactions, including mapping and translation of data between internal systems and external partners.
  • Monitor EDI communication processes to ensure successful data exchange and troubleshoot any errors or issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define EDI requirements, data specifications, and integration needs.
  • Conduct testing and validation of EDI transactions to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage the onboarding of new EDI trading partners and support the integration of their data into our systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for EDI processes, including troubleshooting, error resolution, and system updates.
  • Document EDI processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent and reliable data exchange.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, EDI standards (such as X12, EDIFACT), and emerging technologies to enhance EDI capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2-3 years of experience in EDI analysis, implementation, or support.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards and transaction sets.
  • Proficiency in EDI software tools and platforms, such as IBM Sterling, and framework.
  • Experience with data mapping, translation, and integration processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with scripting or programming languages for EDI customization.
