  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

What does the structure/makeup of the team currently look like? Two Agile teams of ~15 team members. One for front end and other for backend operating as a persistent team working on backlog for system enhancements and support

What will this contractor be accomplishing for your team? Development and testing for new development, enhancements and bug fixes

What will this contractor be working on / are there specific projects? Be part of backend agile team working on the backlog features for Oracle related development and testing.

What makes this role stand out / what are some unique selling points? Very complex system with lot to pickup on domain and business rules for compensation calculations for agents.

Describe your expectations for training once a worker starts and expected ramp up. Expecting a strong technical background in Oracle so the ramp up needed should be only on the application and processes. Would expect an experience Oracle developer / tech lead to pick up some tasks after one sprint of transition.

What type of development will this contractor be doing? (Back end, front end, full stack?) and what will they be responsible for developing? Backend (Oracle)

What type of application will they be developing? Will this contractor primarily be working on new development or maintaining the current environment? Primarily maintenance which incudes enhancements and bug fixes. Large Enhancements could involve substantial development effort

Will this contractor be testing the application/software they are developing? Yes

What programming languages do you want this contractor to have experience with? (How many years of experience with each language)

ORACLE PL/SQL : 6 to 8 years

UNIX/LINUX scripting (3-5) years

What other tools or technologies do you want this contractor to have experience with/how will they be interacting with these tools in this role? TOAD for SQL, Rally for agile processes, CICD processes with Jenkins, Udeploy

What type of background should this contractor have in order to meet the needs of your team? Do they need to hold a specific degree or certification? Bachelors degree (minimum), Any Oracle developer certification would be plus, If there is knowledge of Cloud technologies that will also be a plus. Experience of working in teams and additionally if led team of technical developers that will also be a plus. Insurance domain knowledge will be a plus.
