RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Draper, UT.

Summary:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to gather requirements, analyze data, and translate business needs into actionable insights and solutions. Your technical expertise in data handling, reporting, and visualization will drive informed decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and translate business needs into detailed technical and functional specifications
* Identify opportunities to improve business processes by leveraging data and analytics, offering innovative solutions that align with business goals
* Design, develop, and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
* Optimize queries for performance, ensuring data is retrieved efficiently from various relational databases
* Work closely with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and integrity
* Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau, providing key business insights to stakeholders
* Create meaningful visual representations of data that support business decisions and highlight trends, anomalies, and key metrics
* Use Databricks to analyze and manage large datasets in a cloud-based platform
* Assist in building data pipelines, running machine learning models, and integrating large data sets from various sources to uncover actionable insights

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
* 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst
* Strong experience with Power BI and Tableau for developing data visualization solutions, building interactive dashboards, and reports
* Hands-on experience with Databricks for data management and analytics in a cloud-based environment
* Knowledge of ETL processes and ability to collaborate with data engineers to extract and transform data
* Proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, optimizing query performance, understanding relational databases)
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively bridge business needs and technical solutions
* Strong problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of business processes and technical architectures
* Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
* Team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in Power BI, Tableau, or other relevant tools is advantageous
* Experience working in fraud detection, prevention, or monitoring systems
* Experience with financial services, fintech, or a similar industry
* Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting languages used in data analysis is a bonus
* Experience in a fraud environment or working on fraud-related projects is a plus
* Experience with Plaid or similar financial data aggregation platforms is a plus
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
