Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Quality Consultant. As Data Quality Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our organization's data. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze data, identify data quality issues, and implement measures to improve data integrity and consistency. This function will sit within the Business Development . The on boarding process is complex, touching a number of systems and producing large amounts of data. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data quality management, excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.

Leading Financial Services located in New York, New York, looking for a Data Quality HR Consultant.

Description


  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data quality requirements, challenges, and goals

  • Conduct through analysis of data sets to identify data quality issues, such as missing values, inconsistencies, duplication, and inaccuracies

  • Review data processes and identify new opportunities for process improvement

  • Develop and implement data quality frameworks, policies and procedures in partnership with the Data Governance Specialist

  • Collect, process and perform analyses on large datasets in partnership with the Data Orchestrator

  • Provide recommendations for data governance and data management practices to ensure long-term data quality sustainability

  • Support data migration and data integration projects by providing data quality expertise and ensuring data quality requirements are met

  • Assist in the development of projects which identify data quality challenges

  • Perform business analysis and project management in coordination with Business Strategy

  • Work with the Data Governance Specialist, Technology and Data Science teams to define data quality criteria

Profile


  • A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or something similar

  • Proven experience as a Data Quality Consultant, Data Quality Analyst or a similar role, with a focus on data quality management and improvement

  • Strong knowledge of data quality principles, data governance frameworks, and industry best practices

  • Experience in conducting data quality assessments, data profiling, and root cause analysis

  • Familiarity with data quality tools and technologies, such as data profiling tools, data cleansing software, and data validation solutions

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to understand complex data quality challenges and develop effective solutions

  • Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, ChatGPT

  • Project Management skills and the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously

  • Experience with any of the following a plus: Appian, Salesforce, Workday, Service Now
