Job Summary:

The Associate Campus Director (ACD) is responsible for the recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students at one or more assigned campus locations. The ACD supports the success of students at the current Miami and Orlando campuses and additional campuses as assigned with campus location growth by facilitating their admission into the program, connecting students with potential internship opportunities, and monitoring their performance in order to provide intervention if/as needed. Reporting to the VP of Student Experience, the Associate Campus Director represents the university to prospective students and partners in the community and proactively seeks out all manner of solutions and opportunities to support student success from program start to graduation.

Requirements:

Duties include:

  • Advising students on the path toward success in their programs and connecting them to university resources (such as the Academic Resource Center and the Writing Center)
  • Advising students on the policies and procedures of the university and any other relevant parties
  • Monitoring student performance in collaboration with faculty and intervening as needed to address student or faculty concerns
  • Developing partnerships with employers for internship and career opportunities for students and graduates
  • Coordinating class meeting schedules in collaboration with campus partners
  • Maintaining positive relationships with campus partners and proactively problem-solving any issues with appropriate departments
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to support student success
  • Having presence at the campus on all professional weekends and class meeting times
  • Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met for the location
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Two years working with students in higher education
  • Experience in developing partnerships with outside organizations
  • Effective communication and organization skills
  • Commitment to student success
  • Florida State regulations for Higher Education experience and knowledge strongly preferred
