  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We have an immediate need for a Contract UI/UX designer for a 4+ month contract opportunity. This is a fully remote opportunity but must be performed from the US. The shift will be Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Duties Include:

  • Lead the design of engaging user interfaces for a variety of digital products, including mobile apps, websites, and internal software tools.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and identify user needs and pain points.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business objectives.
  • Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and design principles.
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders. Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing results.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Adhere to style standards with Design System
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in the financial industry.

Job requirements and qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role, preferably in the finance sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous work and design processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
  • Ability to discuss and explain design options, detail oriented and critical thinker
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software including Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, or InVision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and customer-centered
  • Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Finance products, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ADA, Design system is a plus.
  • Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.
