We are seeking **experienced Senior Field Inspectors** specializing in bridge inspections to ensure the quality and compliance of all work activities at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge. This role requires overseeing the **Design-Builder's Work**, performing critical inspections, and ensuring that construction activities align with the project s specifications and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Field Inspections**: Oversee and perform detailed inspections of bridge construction activities, ensuring compliance with **Design-Build Contract** requirements.
- **Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)**: Conduct shop fabrication and field weld inspections.
- **Painting Inspections**: Oversee shop and field painting activities to ensure they meet required standards.
- **Environmental Compliance**: Ensure all work follows the **New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC)** guidelines on erosion and sediment control.
- **Miscellaneous Oversight**: Provide part-time oversight of additional Design-Builder s work as needed.
- **Compliance Reviews**: Interpret complex building plans, review building codes, and maintain thorough inspection logs and reports.

**Qualifications**:
- **Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)** certification is required.
