  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Title: Medical Lab Tech

Location: Detroit, MI

Shift: 10 am - 6:30 or 6pm - 2:30am

Duration: 8 weeks

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens.
  • Involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems.
  • May perform phlebotomy as needed.

Required:

  • Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
  • Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
