Ambilabs is looking for a Research Scientist to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge research and development projects in air monitoring technology.

Position: Research Scientist - Atmospheric Physics & Light Scattering

Research Scientist Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute government grants and internally funded projects for air monitoring equipment development.
  • Lead new product development initiatives and implement upgrades to existing commercial equipment.

Research Scientist Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree in Physics/Chemistry or related field
  • 5 years of experience in light scattering, atmospheric science, and/or small particulate detection
  • Proven experience in leading scientific research projects
  • Experience managing multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams

Research Scientist Bonus Skills:

  • Understanding of instrumental analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of light scattering phenomena
  • Experience with hardware components for air monitoring equipment
  • Strong data analysis and statistical skills
  • Experience in sensor development and machine learning models
